I really found this book to be quite useful. Some of her methods are a little different from mine, but that's how things stay interesting! I love what she says about containers- it reshaped my brain a little bit. I highly recommend this for folks who are looking to implement small, consistent changes.

While this book isn't specifically about decluttering or organizing, I found it incredibly helpful. One of the problems folks run into with managing their stuff is that they don't have good habits or systems in place for daily life. As James Clear writes, "We do not rise to the level of our goals. We fall to the level of our systems." You might have every intention in the world of sorting mail every day or getting laundry put up right away... but if your systems are broken, it's not going to happen. This book helps you figure out better systems to develop good habits.

This book is a fairly quick read with some good information. I found McKeown's framework of "Essential vs Non-Essential" to be very useful, and an interesting counterpoint/partner with the idea of "sparking joy." I'd recommend this book for anyone looking for a quick read to help start sorting things out when life is feeling a bit overwhelming.
